Story about this misheard lyric by: Me So I know Billie Joe Armstrong is not a republican, based on things that I’ve heard he said. So this song came out in 2005 and George W. Bush was the president. I thought they were comparing him to a cat and used “push away” talking about Billie not wanting him to be president anymore. I had to think for a second and after a while I knew that these were not the real lyrics so I looked the lyrics up! Lol |
