Overheard a young lady (age 18-20) singing the misheard lyrics at a party, and was completely convinced theirs was more correct than the multiple sites that contain the correct lyrics. Argued and threatened to end a friendship over the lyrics. Finally admitted that it didn't fit well into the remainder of the song, in spite of a compelling argument about meaning. But ultimately didn't believe anyone that it was wrong.
