"Suck it Up"
Misheard Lyrics: 1, 2, 3, f*ck it up
Original Lyrics: 1, 2, 3, suck it up
|
Story about this misheard lyric by: JeReMy When I first heard the song, I thought some lines were what they really are but some times I thought the singer said "f*ck" instead of "suck" on certain occasions. |
"Pac Bell"
The Funny Lyrics: There was a time when we was tight.
There was a time when we'd make love and you would s*** my d**k like every night. There was a time that I would treat you like you was my queen. But now yo' pee dirty, like you need Mr. Clean. Why They're Funny: I think it explains itself.

The Nonsensical Lyrics: Nine-hundred ninety seven revolutions gone 'round the sun.
Why They're Nonsensical: There talking about the year 1997 (the year this song came out). They seem to have forgotten about the first thousand years, though. (one thousand, nine-hundred ninety seven)

The Misrhymed Lyrics: Somewhere, somehow, somewhen,
we'll see it happen again, my friend. Why They're Misrhymed: Making up words is amusing, but makes for really bad rhymes.

| "Ground"
The Misrhymed Lyrics: See the man in the brown, yeah.
Watch me cover him up with the ground, yeah. Why They're Misrhymed: Why does the guy wearing brown have to be buried alive? Why not the guy in the blue? Or green? Or purple? Well, they just needed something to rhyme with ground, that's why. And it doesn't completely rhyme anyway.

"Bartender"
The Inappropriate Lyrics: I just want your company.
Why They're Inappropriate: They just stole the melody of 'I Just Want to Celebrate' and changed the words a little. At least they admit to doing so in the cd booklet. They do the same thing on the very next track with the chorus to Biggie's 'Hypnotize'.

"Stay Ready"
The Dated Lyrics: 2008 - another fake election.
Why They're Dated: This was written before the 2008 election. It's now almost time for the 2012 election.

The Dated Lyrics: Nine hundred ninety-seven revolutions gone 'round the sun. The spirits leave as they come. Rude people, the meek, the young ones wait without fear. So near to the year of the new millenium.
Why They're Dated: Nine hundred-ninety seven for the year this song came out (1997) and they also say it's NEAR to the year of the NEW MILLENIUM. Well, it's 2012 now so were past all that. (BTW, after this year is over they'll have a whole buttload of dated lyrics considering how much they focus(ed) on the year 2012 and the supposed armageddon)
