Story about this misheard lyric by: Karen Smith I was sitting in the lobby of an establishment, listening to the sound system when this song came on. Although it is a song I recently became vaguely familiar with, I didn't at first recognize it and I heard a line as clearly sounding like the misheard version above. On listening longer I soon recognized the song and realized I knew what the real lyrics to this line are. But on first hearing the line and not yet recognizing the song, what I heard did bear a striking resemblance to the misheard version quoted. |
