Story about this misheard lyric by: Jah Is 4-Evah! The CD has an 'Explicit Lyrics' warning on the cover and there is some strong language (nothing X-rated or violent here) but at the same time with all the Rastafarian references and praises to Jah, I never thought I would hear Ky-Mani Marley take the LORD's name in vain on a CD. Well, I looked it up on the Internet and found out that he DIDN'T. I'm glad of that in light of pretentious 'Christian' bands like Creed and Stryper pulling off the stupid posings that they do, not to mention that their music SUCKS and Ky-Mani Marley's doesn't.. That Jamaican accent of his is pretty thick and I guess it just confused me at first! |
