"As a Christian, I feel very shut out from a lot of contemporary Christianity. My understanding in what it means to be a Christian is to, in our own subjective way, recognize Christ as being God, and recognize our shortcomings and our failings, and try and live according to the teachings of Christ as best we can. And what I find so strange is I look at the behavior of so many Christians, and I don't see any aspect of the teachings of Christ represented there. But [I remember] the quote about taking the log out of your own eye before you can see the speck in someone else's eye, so I don't want to get in the position of judging other Christians. I fully admit that a lot of my actions and a lot of things that are still in my life are inconsistent with my beliefs as a Christian. I'm very secular." Submitted by: Elektro-Kidd
| I learned in the last few years that it's really unhappy and really unsustainable to try and base your well being on something as arbitrary as record sale and critical acclaim and the interests of the public. All of those things are so fickle. So my approach now to music is I want to make records that I love, and I hope that other people love them, then that's OK. - Moby (quoted on CNN.com March 2005) It just seem like musicians want to sell a few records and put out a perfume line, and I think it's so sad that there are so many musicians who don't want to change the world... Music has been so much more. - Moby (quoted on CNN.com March 2005) Submitted by: LucidLupin

"Porcelain" | In my dreams I'm dying all the time, as I wake its kaleidoscopic mind I never meant to hurt you, I never meant to lie So this is goodbye, This is goodbye.... (mostly music with few lyrics and used in several ads and movie soundtracks, but still "Porcelain" is never mentioned in the song) - Allen Sanchez |

"Find My Baby"
The Repetitive Lyrics: I'm gon' find my baby before that sun goes down.
Why They're Repetitive: This is literally the only line in a four-minute song - it just repeats over and over and over.

"We Are All Made of Stars"
The Nonsensical Lyrics: People they come together
People they come apart Nothing can stop us now Cause we are all made of stars Why They're Nonsensical: The first three lines make sense, but I have no idea what the last line means - but it is actually from 2001 (the obelisk at the end of the movie is stated to be full of stars) it's a reference to that and also that we are all made of carbon and that makes up most of the universe so in essence we are made of stars.

"When It's Cold I'd Like To Die (feat. Mimi Goese)"
The Misrhymed Lyrics: I don't wanna swim the ocean
I don't wanna fight the tide I don't wanna swim forever When it's cold I'd like to die Why They're Misrhymed: Mimi should have written this chorus without Moby's help... Why, Moby? why???

"Find My Baby"
Opening Lines: I'm gon' find my baby (woo!) 'fore the sun goes down.
Comments: This is the only line in the whole song, so technically is the opening line...

"Spiders"
The Made Up Words: uncrush
Comments: The lyrics say "Come uncrush my hand" - but that's impossible. "Uncrushed" and "uncrushable" are words, but not "uncrush".
