For 32-1/2 years, until seeing the lyrics transcribed in a YouTube video of the song, I thought this line was "Our love's gonna be destroyed by tragedy," and that an earlier line was "Our love's gonna be renowned in history (I've just submitted the correct version of that one as well, which is, "Our love's gonna be written down in history")." |
