Band Name Origins:
- The comon thought abotu this band is that itisa synonym for Satan laughs as you eternally rot, but this was actually (and to me obviously) after the name slayer was come up with. It is really named after a game "Dragon Slayer" for the NES and they later shortened it to Slayer. Submitted by: Nick D.
- Slayer is Satan Laughs As You Eternally Rot. They say 'laughing as you eternally rot' on the song Live Undead from the South of Heaven Album, and on the linear notes to Divine Intervention are the words Satan Laughs As You Eternally Rot.
