Story about this misheard lyric by: Me This song came out when I was about 8, and I used to draw a lot when I was a kid. I found a drawing of a "movie" I made up about this song while cleaning out a cupboard a few years ago. Although all the other lyrics were correct, one comic panel or "scene" had the 2 singers sitting in the car driving down a road singing "I want a lover with a CD player." In 1997 I thought that it was really cool to have a CD player and if you had a boyfriend he had to have a CD player or he wasn't cool. |
