Story about this misheard lyric by: John I'd watch Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom as much as possible. At the end, I'd try as hard as I could to figure out the lyrics. This version is the closest I've ever come. For decades I've off and on searched for them. This is the first one I've found any reference to them whatsoever. I'm shocked. I never heard "rough" or "tough". "Wrong" seemed plausible, but I couldn't make the jump to that. Thanks for being weird enough to help me with this. Now I can sleep better at night, knowing the truth. |
