The Yardbirds With Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton & Jimmy Page, YardbirdsThese days it's almost like a lot of kids get into bands because they want to get rich and famous, but when we started this band that wasn't really part of it. I never envisioned what I was doing as part of a career. We weren't even aware of all the stuff that came with it. We just looked at the bands that we idolized - like the Yardbirds - and we were blown away by how they could play. All we wanted to do was play like that, to be a great band like that. - Steven Tyler - Aerosmith Submitted by: LucidLupin

"Chris Dreja" | "Photographer" | This could have gone in the "New Career" as well...was a photographer from when he left in 1968 to when the Yardbirds were resurrected in 1992. He was offered a chance to be the bassist of the "New Yardbirds", a band Jimmy Page formed, in part to fulfill all the Yardbirds' concert commitments in 1968, but he declined, wanting to pursue photography. He did, however, take a picture of this band, that was used on the cover of their first album. He is also one of the people credited with having given the "New Yardbirds" their final name, supposedly saying that the band would go over "like a lead zeppelin" - Ra'akone |

"For Your Love"
The Nonsensical Lyrics: For your love, I'd give you everything and more
Why They're Nonsensical: No one can give everything to another person. Also, "everything and more" is an impossibility.

"For Your Love"
Opening Lines: For your love.
Comments: This line is repeated three times before we get to anymore lines. But I love this song from 1965, it is such an infectious song and an early prelude to what was to come in the late 1960's psychedelica.
