The Story: I was 18 or 19 that time. I live in Malaysia. English isnt my first language. With that said. Once i heard the song, instead of looking for the lyrics, i actually "googled" gooks instead. because i didnt know what it means. Turns out gook means a foreigner, especially a person of SE Asian descent. A racist one that is lol!... Didnt help the fact that Malaysia is a multicultural country, and not with a shortage of those of chinese decent either!.. Only used it on my friends tho, in a funny way... trying to sound american while saying "damn gooks! good for nothing buggers, Learn to speak english!"... always said that to my chinese friends when they were talking to each other in Mandrin/hakka(basically chinese). All that from a misheard song which never made mention of that particular racist term,only to be heard by a nincompoop who tried to be smart and googled the misheard word and thus, added "gook" in his english vocabulary. - Submitted by: Rifdi
