Song names are sorted by first letter, excluding A and The. This is sorted by song title only, not by song title and performer. So if two different performers preformed the same song, you'll see misheard lyrics for both on the same page (provided the song title was spelt the same both times, and misheard lyrics have been submitted for both!).

The Story: Morning glory is slang for a male's early morning erection, so this really isn't far fetched. Ever since somebody on the Oasis list posted how he misheard the lyrics, it's impossible for me not to hear one of the incorrect versions when I listen now. - Submitted by: Ellie Dee

The Story: With this been called 'My Sister Lover', it fitted in nicely with a college play about an incestual relationship. In the play, there was a group that had to sing this. The Story: My little brother who was about seven years old walked up to me while I was listening to this song and asked me what a 'shikalow' was. I asked, 'What? Use it in a sentence. I've never heard of it before.' He answered,'You know.... 'ahhhh, shikalow with me'. I never laughed so hard in my life. He had been wondering what a 'shikalow' was for about a year before he had the nerve to ask me. He even looked it up in the dictionary! - Submitted by: Dale

The Story: My best friend and I were driving around one day just listening to music (something we do a lot). We both loved this whole album. We were singing along trying to figure out what it was this part was saying. And we thought we'd finally figured it out. The Story: When I first heard this song, back in 1995, maybe, I thought that the words were symbolic. I thought that the band was saying: the gun will throw it back to you. I guess I thought that the band was singing about a superman or batman-like magic cannon. I thought they were singing about a magic cannon that had cannonballs that would boomerang on you, and send the cannonballs back in your direction after you fired the cannonballs. - Submitted by: TR
