Song names are sorted by first letter, excluding A and The. This is sorted by song title only, not by song title and performer. So if two different performers preformed the same song, you'll see misheard lyrics for both on the same page (provided the song title was spelt the same both times, and misheard lyrics have been submitted for both!).

Woman draws a knife on man and gives it back again.

The Real Lyrics:

Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again.

The Story: I had heard this song before but hadn't familiarized myself with all the lyrics. Then I heard it tonight on my car radio. And this line, which I'd never particularly noticed before, struck me as sounding just like the misheard version that I've quoted. I knew that couldn't be right, so as soon as I got home, I checked out the real words on line. By then I'd already thought about how, sadly, with some marriages I've known of, the misheard lyrics turn out to fit better than the real ones. - Submitted by: Meredith Corpening
