Real Lyrics -> Bad Grammar in Song Lyrics -> Frankie Valli

Song lyrics aren't supposed to be a fountain of perfect english, but on the other hand some are just so atrocious, they need to get called out. We're not looking for sentance fragments or the word ain't since there are too many instances to count.

Frankie Valli - Greatest Hits album at Amazon.com
Frankie Valli's, "Can't Take My Eyes Off You"
The Lyrics:
But if you feel like I feel,
Please let me know that it's real.
Why:
"I feel" in these lyrics is a subordinate clause, and needs a subordinating conjunction to link it to the clause before ("you feel"). The correct subordinating conjunction for this case would be "as". So the correct version of the first line above would be "But if you feel as I feel,". The word "like" is a preposition and cannot correctly be used as a subordinating conjunction. This is one case where using the correct grammar would not have thrown off the meter or rhyme scheme!
