The Lyrics

This parody is talking about global warming. It's directed at someone who pretends that global warming isn't a real problem.
Are you aware of what your actions do?
Oh, man. How can it be invisible to you?
Cause it is real.
Can you not feel the temperatures rise around you?
Why do you turn away?
Here's what I have to say.

Animals are dying,
The President's lying,
Environmentalists are sighing,
And I here you saying,

"Why should I care?
I won't be there
When cold gets rare.
They'll be fine alone."
Well you, you need to start thinkin'.
It makes me throw up
To think Earth's warming up.
Don't make us fight alone.

Does all the proof just pass right by you,
Not penetrate your face?
In fifty years will you recognize this place?
You think that it's fine,
Bush is devine.
But that's just not the case.
Everything isn't okay.

Animals are dying,
The President's lying,
Environmentalists are sighing,
And I hear you saying,

"Why should I care?
I won't be there
When cold gets rare.
They'll be fine alone."
Well you, you need to start thinkin'.
It makes me throw up
To think Earth's warming up.
Don't make us fight alone.

Lying out loud,
You're lying out loud.
Lying out loud,
You're lying out loud.
Open your eyes.
Open up wide.

Why should you care?
Cause you'll be here
And you'll be scared.
And then you'll feel alone.

Why should you care?
Cause you'll be here
And you'll be scared.
And then you'll feel alone.

Why should you care?
If you don't care,
No one will care,
It won't get us anywhere.

Why should you care?
Cause you'll be here,
And you'll be scared.
And then you'll feel alone.

Why should you care?
If you don't care,
No one will care,
It won't get us anywhere.

I like this one a lot. It has to be the best one I've seen so far, probably because it's not like all the others that are bitching about people like Avril Lavigne and Blink 182 not being proper punks...oh what a crime... But not just 'cause of that. 'Tis very good. =)

Hi, Sydnee. Here's a shocker: I know where you live, too! I didn't know you'd been to this website. And listen to Losing Grip. It's a good song.

Good job once again. I didn't mark it as well for being funny cause global warming is a very serious thing, and I agree with everything you said in that song.
