For those of you who don't know, MLA is a format for writing research papers. I still can't get the hang of it, and where else besides college do you write research papers anyway?

I had to do a research report on a social issue in high school, and I'm getting used to MLA. I didn't like the idea of the citation style in middle school, so I didn't do well on my science research report. This grade school, high school, and college required it on their research reports, you know!!! Anyway, I felt your pain in the parody -- until high school.

I feel the painnn. How do you quote someone quoting someone else? How do you give a page number for an online reference? How many f***ing names are required when you cite an encyclopedia? Ohhh, I've been doing it for three years now and I'm still lost. A citation system that needs series and series of books to be printed about it is a bad system.

Research papers require analytical thinking, logical arguments, and clear writing. I'd say you need all three beyond college. That is, if you have a decent job... And, honestly, how difficult is it to read a manual and apply the rules? Lowest level of Bloom's taxonomy... Incessant whiners...that's what this generation is comprised of...
