The Lyrics

This is also one of those memory parodies of the worst school memory I've had so far- when I was in seventh grade and I had a HUGE book project that was done two days before the deadline. I walked downstairs the day before it was due and found my older brother had once again messed with the computer, losing all of my files.
Oh, no...

Damn damn damn damn damn damn
Damn damn damn damn damn damn

I think he did it again
He messed with my stuff
And lost all my files
Oh, damn it
It might seem like not much
But the project's huge, and it's serious
'Cause he lost all of my pages
That is just so typically him
Oh, damn it, damn it

[CHORUS:]
Shit!... He did it again
Messed with documents
And lost all my stuff
Oh, damn it, damn it
Shit!... My brother's a pain
And I'm going insane
He lost my huge project!

You see, my problem is this
It's due in one day
Wishing my brother just didn't exist
I cry, for the due date
Can't you see that I'm screwed
In so many ways?
'Cause he lost all of my pages
That is just so typically him
Oh, damn it, oh...

[CHORUS:]
Shit!... He did it again
Messed with documents
And lost all my stuff
Oh, damn it, damn it
Shit!... My brother's a pain
And I'm going insane
He lost my huge project!

Damn damn damn damn damn damn
Damn damn damn damn damn damn

"Time to go!"
"Sarah, before you leave, there's something I need you to see."
"It's the recycle bin... wait, isn't that-"
"Yeah, yes it is"
"But it was done! It wasn't in the recycle bin!"
"Well, I messed with the computer and lost it by accident."
"Damn! Why'd you do that?!"

Shit!... He did it again and my files
Got lost in the bin, oh, damn it
Shit!... He's a pain and now I am going insane
He lost my big project!

[CHORUS:]
Shit!... He did it again
Messed with documents
And lost all my stuff
Oh, damn it, damn it
Shit!... My brother's a pain
And I'm going insane
He lost my huge project!

Shit!... He did it again and my files
Got lost in the bin, oh, damn it
Shit!... He's a pain and now I am going insane
He lost my big project!
Thanks, Starlette Victory, for inspiring to write this with your "Shit... She Did It Again!!!" parody about your mother reloading the hard drive and losing your huge project, and I hope you're not upset that this is too much like yours. I tried to make it as different from yours as possible so you wouldn't be mad, but I had to use some of the stuff you did because nothing else sounded good. To everyone else, thanks for reading this and I hope you enjoyed it! Vote on what you thought of it and leave a comment!

I loved it, but I think the pacing might have been a little off.

My brother thinks he knows everything about computers, so he purposely deletes things, thinking he's helping. I had a research project due that he erased just because it "took up too much space!" I'll be singing this the next time he messes up my stuff, and believe me, it won't be too long before that happens.
T - January 29, 2006 - Report this comment
Well, it happened. He deleted yet another bid project, and I sang this lament in his face. Fortunately my dad, who can say he's a computer expert and actually be right, recovered it.

My brother is exactly like yours. He deleted my older sister's huge, four month long world civilization project that took up over half of her grade- "It took up 3 bytes!!! And we already have Shockwave, that takes up a lot!!" You know those Nancy Drew computer games? My little sister plays them a lot and he always deletes them- "They're stupid and they take up too much space!!!" I'd buy him a new computer, but who would spend so much money on a jerky older brother?
Pink Panther - February 15, 2006 - Report this comment
Well, I'd only buy him a computer so he could mess around with it and leave the rest of us alone.

So, PP, this was your first parody? While I am not fond of profanity, I'm sure I would feel the same way if I experienced what you wrote about. I'm gonna have to vote 4 for pacing, since I had some trouble following it. In the other categories, I haven't decided what number to vote yet.
Pink Panther - July 12, 2006 - Report this comment
Yep, this was my first one. I started off really bad at pacing but got better because I kept writing parodies. Most of my parodies do have swear words in them, which is a little weird coming from a 13 year old, but oh well. At least this is better than Poopie Longstocking's parodies. My parody "School's Over (Time of My Life)" has no cursing in it, but I think that's the only one that doesn't. Did you vote 455, 445, or 454? Or did you vote something else?
Mr. Critic - July 12, 2006 - Report this comment
4,5,5.
Pink Panther - July 15, 2006 - Report this comment
Oh. Then thanks. I'm glad you liked it!
Starlette Victory - March 04, 2007 - Report this comment
This is absolutely lovely. My brother does the same thing!

Ugh. I hate it when he does that. This is why I keep everything on a flash drive now, so he can't delete any of my school crap. Thanks for your support!!
