At last, Rep. Michele Bachmann R-Minn climbs to the front of the GOP candidates over Mitt Romney and forcing out Tim Pawlenty. Bachmann now stands as Mitt Romeny's main challenger and I for one do not think Texas Gov. Rick Perry (using/abusing the far-right Christian Fundamentalist base) will be able to surpass her. Mitt Romney has so far made the same mistake as in 2008 with Guiliani- he thought he had a commanding lead and underestimated his rivals. Just a short time ago, Romney who claimed he was the GOP's main pick was actually just 1% point above Michele Bachmann and now we see her rising without a doubt. She is determined to make Obama a "one-term President" and is nicknamed "Titanium Spine". It would do Romney and Perry well to take her seriously. She has my vote already and IMHO would make an excellent first Female US President.

Michele Bachmann has been the underdog up until now and I fully support her. Although the Straw Poll seldom indicates who will get nominated, it was enough to boost Bachmann and send Pawlenty home. Now there are several debates scheduled for Sept and then later the move toward the nomination next year. I hope Bachmann goes all the way is nominated and becomes the first US Female President... but more importantly to kick Obama out of office and repeal his healthcare.
