The Lyrics

Don't Know The Original Song (DKTOS)? It's on YouTube.
In my place, in my place
A Cadillac Escalade
Makes me cross, oh yeah

Someone got in my spot
Not nice, and I'm feeling hot
So I plot, oh yeah

Yeah, I think that I'll crack the rims
Yeah, I think that I'll hack the trim
Yeah, he'll never do this again
He should have known

First I glared, then declared
This car will need lots of repair
Once I'm done with it

Throwing stones, striking blows
Smashing the windows and doors
And the headlights too, yeah

Yeah, now see how I dent the rims
Yeah, and see how I bent the trim
Yeah, he'll pay for his parking sin
He must atone, yeah

When he sees, sees, sees
He'll gasp and drop his keys
And freeze, freeze

My wife comes running out, now, now
I hear her scream and shout, at me, me
"What are you doing?"

In my place, in my place
A Cadillac Escalade
That she just bought, oh yeah
I'm dead

That will teach you a lesson in anger management! Great twist as usual at the end!

(Artistry) I can relate. In Chicago during the wintertime, folks have gotten into fisticuffs over premium, non-snow-ravaged parking spots.

(Artistry) Still really love that ending. One of the best of this round no doubt.

(Artistry 77) Great job and you put humor into parking spot issues! I echo all comments above and to echo Anderson, I love the last verse also. Talk about road rage! Very funny give 'em and charge them $55.05 tickets for parking in your spot! ;D

(Artistry) That was fantastic, no doubt. Perfect pacing (I liked the way you split the long 'for' at the end of the chorus lines into two words), great story and twist, and possibly the best line to end a parody I've ever read. $555 to cover the damages!

The end is just fantastic, The original song's lyrics were repetitive and whiny, but you managed to turn it into pure Gold here. So few lines, so simplistic a song, and yet you really squeezed it out. Fantastic job Rex.
