The Lyrics

About what would happen if someone changed my house on TLC's Trading Spaces.
Well I just heard the news today
It seems my house has been totally changed
I closed my eyes, begin to pray
I opened my eyes: tears stream down my face

With eyes wide open
I view the damage
I hate this place
I'll throw out everything
With a jaw wide open
I'm not ready
The room got trashed, I think a trash truck crashed

I'll take a breath, get close to her ear
I'll sear real loud, they'll bleep it out

With eyes wide open
Under the dim light
Please leave this tacky place
Why'd I get on Trading Space?
With jaws wide open
Now everything has changed
I'll show you my fist
I'll show you my evil side
With my arm crossed
If I had just one wish
Only one demand
I hope she gets the plague
I hope she understands
That she can take this house
And ruin it all
And she can greet the world
With her wallet wide open...

Alright, my wife loves this show, and I knew the original song, so I had to look. Not a bad job. Now what if someone took your parody and totally rewrote it While You Were Out? Trading Phrases?

Nice job. I think the key on that show is to stay away from that one designer who likes to spackle the walls with manure or whatever.
