Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Normal emotion right now would be fear
I picked comfy seats but they're useless right here
I've managed to lose my appetite
They tell me don't panic, oh yeah right
And how'd those things get carried on?

Don't mind bathroom lines since I went in my seats
With feet by the aisle I will soon be dead meat
I'm watching my life before my eyes
These don't seem to be the friendly skies
And this is really scary. Ahhhhhhhhh......

Lots of snakes on a plane
That's way off the ground
It might not be long
"Til our bodies are found
Their fangs are so close
They slither and slide
It's pointless to run
And there's nowhere to hide
Loose snakes on a plane
We're going to die
I'd gladly jump out
But we're clearly too high
With snakes on a plane
Loose snakes on a plane

I'd be willing to drive to Peru
I'd turn down all flights if I get through
This terrible experience

With loose snakes on a plane
That's way off the ground
It might not be long
"Til our bodies are found
Their fangs are so close
They slither and slide
It's pointless to run
And there's nowhere to hide
Loose snakes on a plane
We're going to die
I'd gladly jump out
But we're clearly too high
With snakes on a plane
Loose snakes on a plane

Who'll save the kids and who will save me?
Since I don't know what to do
I doubt I will but if I find out
What fool let the snake-filled bag through
I plan to sue

So where is the hero who will let this plane land?
Don't wanna die
It cannot be me since I can't even stand

With loose snakes on a plane
That's way off the ground
It might not be long
"Til our bodies are found
Their fangs are so close
They slither and slide
It's pointless to run
And there's nowhere to hide
Loose snakes on a plane
We're going to die
I'd gladly jump out
But we're much too high
With snakes on a plane
Loose snakes on a plane

Haven't heard from you in a while, Ethan. Welcome back and, a nice way to return. This movie sounds pretty freaky. 555 :-)

Well done, the chorus is a perfect fit!

I like it! Very singable, but where is Jackson's signature "Motherf___in' ..." line... er, uh well I guess that would pushing it! 5's

I've now read all about the film in a local paper, and felt like I was an expert, having learnt it all before from you Ethan - long live the obsession - should be more of them - 555

I tried to comment before but was blocked by the twit control. I haven't actually seen the movie, but I heard about it for the first time several months ago. I had this basic idea months ago, but actually got around to writing it in honor of the official release.

Great job, Ethan! I don't know which scares me more; snakes or Powter. I'd like to have seen more variation in the choruses, but hey, that's just me! 555

Maybe we should get Samuel L. to rub out Powter. And lay his vengeance upon him. Anyway, good parody of a horrible song. And I knew the SOAP parodies would be coming.

Sorry, I was on vacation and this one easily passed me by. Some good stuff in this one, but the choruses could have alternated a bit more. And the last line in the second chorus was not necessary since he just sings "aaaaaahhhh yeah yeah yeah yeah" in place of that mssing line just before the bridge. Great mutha... nevermind, I'm not gonna say it... job! 455
