Peter, is this about Instant Messaging? I know what browneye means but what spawned this parody?
Red Ant: Nothing particular spawned it really, I first came up with the title/main line and the “here comes reply” line that enabled the twist of perspective/narrator while listening to the song. No personal experience, though I did contemplate to credit the famous Avril/Hillary comments thread that has already spawned some other (and much better) parodies than this one from me.
