Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Yes, Pink Panther is taking on her first Evanescence song. It's not that good, but I think I got most of the pacing right. Anyhow... So I took my finals and got my math one back, and I aced it. Which surprises me because I suck at math, but I'm happy. So we're not even DOING anything for the last two weeks of school- can't they let us go home?!?!?!?!
Don't bother me
You're boring me
With all this award crap
Just let me
Get some sleep
And clear my mind

I'm just so relieved
I passed eighth grade
And not just barely, I got decent grades
What's the point of this,
We're already done with our tests
And I'm sick of homework
Can't we leave now?!

Don't bother me
You're boring me
With all this award crap
Just let me
Get some sleep
And clear my mind

All the adults get
All teary
Making us promise to visit them soon
I just want to leave
And start summer break now
We're not even doing stuff now!!
Can't we leave now?!

So don't bother me
You're boring me
With all this award crap
Just let me
Get some sleep
And clear my mind

Let me sleep; wake me when it's over
By that, I mean when eighth grade's over
It's over

How could I have aced my math test?
How could I, because I suck at math!

So don't bother me
You're boring me
With all this award crap
Don't yell at me
Just let me sleep
Wanna clear my mind
Well, no, they can't let us go home because we need 180 days of school. Crap. But still, we're not even doing anything! I do have to make up a science test, but that will take me about fifty minutes. GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!! I WANT TO START SUMMER!!!!!!!!!

I don't feel sorry for you...at all.

I don't write parodies to make people feel sorry for me. I write them because it's more fun than writing in a journal, and I like hearing what people have to say about them. Saying that you don't feel sorry for me, however, doesn't tell me at all how people thought the parody was and it's comments like these that I can't believe I'm even replying to. But quite frankly, I don't care if anyone feels sorry for me or not. That's not why I write parodies.

Do you write 'em to get fives? If so, then MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. Just watch out for them summertime blues. They can be nasty.

"Person" you're kind of being a jerk. I found this parody well written and paced. Hard song to do, as well. 555

I try to write them to get fives and hopefully I will. But I do get summertime blues sometimes, hence the parody "Tired of Sitting Around", which I believe I wrote last summer in the middle of June. But this song is hard to do, so I just tried my hardest to write it well. It's not my best one, though.
