You're asking me to comment, and so I will simply say this: you have GOT to get a hold on what pacing is all about. You can have the best idea in the world...(I'm always a sucker for a superhero based parody)...but it will fall flat every single time if the pacing is off...especially if it's off as much as this is. I'm sorry...just being honest.

Uh,...to be homest with you... I got THE HOLE PACING THING DOWM!!! It's in how you look at it!! I could sing this song in the tune of the origanal, I do that wth all my parodies befoere I summet them so I know there all right.... so I'm teling youI ... I'm sorry...I wasn't (am not) trying to be malicious...I was simply sharing my honest opinion. Clearly, there are those who think this parody is perfect...given your three 555 votes...(although I wonder why the folks who left those votes chose not to leave you some verbal praise)...but that doesn't change the fact that I thought this was poorly paced. And even if you CAN sing this parody along with the OS, I will continue to think that it's poorly paced, regardless of how much you yell at me and/or mock what I say.

Steve, you asked for comments, so here you go. The idea, as Arwen alluded to, was very good, however the meter (or as we say here, pacing) is substantially off in several places; notably "The better part of Peter Parker" for "The better part of me"; you could conceivable squeeze in 3 extra syllables there, but the next line comes rather quickly, and IMO there isn't really time to do that. Also, "I'm more than a spider-based hero" doesn't even come close to scanning to "I'm more than a plane", and doesn't rhyme at all with the next line, either. The next paragraph is more or less lifted from TOS, and the 4th the rhyming is off again.
I hope I'm not coming off as overly harsh, but you won't improve without some honest feedback, which is what Arwen and I have given you.

I have to say I agree with Arwen and Red Ant on the pacing. There are some good ideas here, but disjointed phrases (the result of poor pacing) undermine a lot of the jokes. Again, I'm not trying to be unnecessarily critical, just honest.
