Meg - Don't know original song so I couldn't vote. Gee, if "Posers" are that much of a problem for you don't even think about being an adult ever, 'cause they are ALL OVER the freaking place. Seriously, Michael P is right, give the kid a break (not that she needs it), gotta appear to be somebody to be on stage, who the hell knows who they really are at 17 or 18? Normal, more-or-less sheltered teen-ager wouldn't sell many records, would it? Michael - good thing she can't play shortshop or Steinbrenner would trade somebody to Arista Records for her.

Avril is such a poser and it's about time for her to realize this!!!! =) good idea using good charlotte-<3i loooove them!!! i wish she would decide if she was punk or pop, god!!!!!! i don't know why people say GC isn't punk, they are and if they looked them up on the internet, read about them and their life when they were young well.........

in no way is good charlotte punk. for true punk there is the yesteryear (except for misfits) clash, ramones, misfits, sex pistols who are heavily merchandised and widely available. then there are the streetpunk bands past and present, streetpunk is alive and well in the underground. if your worried about avril and the pop punkers raping your studded, spiked, black-wearing etc. style, your probably not a true punk just an elaborate poser. true punks either don't bother with the stereotypical punk/hardcore clothing, or they go all out with it not caring if some mainstreamer they have barely heard of and don't give a damn about, also does a lukewarm theft of the style and dresses in a somewhat similar fashion.
isn't talking about what is "true punk" and not, if you really didn't care (what should be the 'normal' thing for a punk to do) you wouldn't post here. thus, you're a little bit of a poser yourself. sucks doesn't it? but I think we can't talk about true punk anymore... you can only do things that are vaguely punk, like shocking people or insult the government. and why the hell do you care about what someone else thinks? there are millions of different opinions about true punk. it doesn't excist, the only thing that excists are people trying to belong in a certain group because that seems safe. it doesn't matter.
