Cupid's So Cold

Take a look at my boyfriend,
cos he's the only one I got.
Not much of a boyfriend,
I never seem to get alot.

It's been a time since we last spoke
and this is gonna sound like a bad joke
but Muma I fell in love again
It's safe to say I have a new boyfriend.
And I know it sounds so old,
but that love meddler cupid's so cold.
I tried my best not to give in,
but he played me like a violin.
I mean he's 6 years older than me
and he loves watching sports on TV.
But he's got some negative qualities too.
It's not the first time a guys been bad,
so I guess in retrospect he's the best I had.
But if I had to choose him or Family Guy,
I would happily wave him goodbye.

I never seem to get alot.

Dad I know it's not the first time,
you've heard me rhyme about a guy.
But this time he's better than the rest,
he's clean shaven and not on house arrest.
He likes watching movies and a good joke,
he respects woman and doesn't spoke
I think you should be glad this time.
He's not like my last one who's into crime,
nor the one before who abused me all the time.
He seems to be interested in what I say,
it's just he doesn't make an effort to make my day...

He has a voice that could soothe the roughest streams
and when he wants to he can make it hot if you know what I mean.
He has a way with words to make me smile on the darkest of days,
when he truly makes an effort I believe everything that he says.
He's not a good singer though his voice to me is like angels chimes;
although he can be a jerk I am ever so glad I can call him mine.
