The Lyrics

This song WILL be recorded, likely tomorrow, I intended to release it with the written version, but believe it or not my voice is cracking like a twelve year old just starting puberty on this song. . .all my other recordings are at badave.com
First I,
I kicked a bee hive, and a bumble bee stung my rear
I cried
I must go against my health
So I can persevere
I'll always pick "Dare"

It's stripping to my shorts
as I drink another ale
All my neighbors squeal

Frankly I
am stuck here in this bind
all these dares are quite unreal

I'll run nude without blinking, This I swear
Around the farm while eating fries, yeah
I'll win, tell me truth or dare, please don't stare, I'm still bare

So then you
provide your secret, so another round that you'll survive
But I said "dare" another time and you said go hand jive, ohhh-oh

It's getting quite hardcore
it's the ground on which I lay
while all my friends have gathered round
Oh man, I'm starting to think that when they call my name,
"I'll Lose" they vow

Whenever you're picking me, I'll say "Dare"
Don't mind the harm, pain filled cries--yeah
Although you are hurting me, I'll pick dare, No Truth Here

Would you choose laughter over crime
Give a break this time

Even eating roach whip cream, I'll pick Dare
Set off alarms and eat mud pies--yeah
Won't tell you my secrets dear, I'll say "Dare", Though I'm scared

Doo Doo Doo
Mountain Dew
drinking from a shoe

No Truth No, boo-hoo hoo hoooo

Doo Doo Doo
Let's play clue
This game makes me blue

No more, no more no-oooo
Like I said, this one WILL be recorded shortly, I am just having a little trouble perfecting the vocals because my voice is not co-operating on this song for the third straight night.

I dare you to record this!!! I know you were going to do it anyways, but I figured I'd dare you in order for you to friggen do it already. Lazy-butt going on three days already! Just kidding, Great parody Dave.

Wish I knew more of your OSs, as there's wild, wacky wierdness here. Matthias sounds like he knows it, so I'll take his word on pacing and go 555 for your dare-ody.

This was really good...I don't know the OS, so I'm looking forward to the recording, but I loved the idea for the song, and the dares were very funny =)

Far out and kooky funny, which is a style of parody I like...

nicely done Dave - with a line like "I'll win, tell me truth or dare, please don't stare, I'm still bare" this could double for an Incubus Artistry entry and an Embarrassment Decathlon entry - or is that the idea? - 555

Squirmingly terrific, Dave...I've always been too chicken for dares, and you've still not convinced me to take it up as a hobby. ..555

And a message for Stu: I didn't realise Incubus were signed to Motown! I'm waiting for the duet with Diana Ross...;-)

(Artistry) I had significant trouble getting some of this to scan, particularly the first lines in the first and third chorus. There's also IMO some missed rhymes, but it's funny all the same. Probably should have voted 455, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt because you are going to record this.

Sorry Dave, I hadn't seen the front page of Amiright in a few days - been out of town. I listened to the recording, and it did pace fine - good stuff!

Are you still up? I'm on another radio station now. . .The quality of my music is picking up my repertoire with the on air community

A late contender for Jackass - The soundtrack! :-)

(Artistry) This is funny, and that's the truth! Now I dare you to do the impossible -- start a parody contest that will run for years! Bwa ha ha... oh, wait....

Man... You seem like you play Xtreme Truth Or Dare... Do you play Xtreme Spin The Bottle too? Heh, heh... If I had to pick out one dare that I would loathe doing out of the lot it would have to be the cockroach whip cream, but I would love to eat fries naked in a farm. That just sounds relaxing.

(Artistry) A quintessential B.A.D.-parody, veering between wacky self-deprecation and poignant self-reflection.
