The Lyrics

Lesson to take from this number: always drive considerately (but safely!); you never know who may be behind you.
[giggle] DRIVE!

I just clocked myself out of work
And I am really feeling like a jerk
I held everything in all day
And the next loo is fifty miles away

It's time to speed up to at least sixty-five
(You're driving oh-so)
Though if all else fails I'll go at this fancy dive

You're driving oh-so-slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving really slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving way too slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving oh-so-slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
(My bladder's feelin')

Hurry (Quick!)
I feel it coming
I don't think I can
Hold it much longer
If I didn't regret choosing
This commute, then I'm regretting it now

I swear to God that people on this Interstate
(You're driving oh-so)
Are trained to trail to the point I become irate

You're driving oh-so-slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving really slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving way too slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving oh-so-slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
(My bladder's feelin')

...FULL!

Hurry up, hurry up
My full bladder's comin' through
Someone let me in the loo
Let me, let me in the loo
Don't tell me, don't tell me
That you're doing your cleaning runs
Just let me in the loo
Let me, let me in the loo-oo

I'm dancing in place
(slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow)
I gotta go... real bad!
(slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow)

YOU'RE DRIVING OH-SO-SLOW!

(You're driving oh-so-slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow)
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving really slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving way too slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
You're driving oh-so-slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
Slo-o-o-o-o-o-o-ow
(My bladder's feelin')

...full.

Nice work, now you have 4 songs!!! 555! Thanks for the Facebook page link too. Interesting that you are an author and write poetry- me too. I have 9 online books, 3 SW fiction novels (1 completed, 1 almost finished, and 1 started), lots of published poetry in anthologies, tons of stuff since my teens published in newpapers and magazines, and am currently writing a new Sci-Fi novel that deals with an aggressive reproduction soldier (a Graffan) that must save a dying asexual race of Genneu (Gender-Neutral) asexual beings by extracting universal foreign genetic material through intimate, invasive contact. Landing on Earth, the Graffan is pursued by APD Detective Diane Westfield. The adversaries here form a bond later on. Lots of sci-fi tech and action with some alien-human sexual content. I have designed the cover art and am on Chapter 2 right now... hardest part of these types is writing the female characters and how they think!!! For Star Wars this is not too difficult, but fictionalized real-life scenarios are so much harder IMHO!!! So far, this work is like a cross between "Species" and "Femalien" with tech rivalry of SW, ST, BSG, and Firefly!!! I wish we could converse about it but I have removed myself from social media a long time ago. Slowly dying of several diseases, I do not even know if I will live to finish this work and complete the SW Trilogy :(

Your writing sounds pretty awesome. And you're welcome for the Facebook link. I have a series in the pipeline that I've worked on since high school (still trying to finish the second book so I could start the third one), and I'm working on a novel about a teacher whose daughter dies by suicide. I've also published some of my poetry and am contemplating ideas for a fifth parody to submit here.

TY Rebekah for the comments, and my best tip for you on writing a new song parody would be write what you know or else as Clancy wrote- write what's in the news. If you noticed, my SJH IPASOY song parodies are info-parodies not really funny but factual. Today I have 4 of them. 2 deal with Gadhafi, 1 on Terry Thompson who let the animals loose in Ohio, and 1 on Harold Camping and his second false rapture prediction this year. All are news items. The other 6 songs are about Zombies, Gadhafi, and even a BBQ gone wrong!!! Anyway, sorry for the asexual word repeated in my comments- I take so many drugs each day that even trying to proof my words gets hard. Am interested in your new novel. Do you post sections online or do you have an approximate date it will be released? Would love to read it b/c I am starved for reading material that is new. I am bedridden a lot and can't afford new novels anymore. I have my own office library at home with around 3300 books and mags, but that is a large accumulated collection from decades. I am starved for new media in print. I love all genres too just as in movies and video games. GL on your 5th song parody :)

No problem. I have a synopsis and a couple segments of my novel posted online, as well as some other writings. They are located on my Facebook page if you'd like to give those a read. Recently I added some little writing segments from prompts that I was given at the workshop I attended. I hope to publish my novel(s) in print and electronically so people all over the world can have a chance to read it. I write what I know, but if I don't know something I research it so then I'll know about it. =) I just submitted my 5th parody, which would be the first of its kind in terms of original artist/song on this site if it gets approved, as well as a fragment, which is more or less a short parody.
