The Lyrics

This song was not intended to be offensive. I realize that it is an adult topic, but I do not think it is any more offensive than anything in, lets say, a Mel Brooks movie. This song was influenced by "Little Tiny Mustache" by Stephen Lynch. Original song- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yd3ol7kRg4k
There is a crowd
Outside of our house
I'm just here in my room
Dad I have to tell you
Something radical
Mom seems so theatrical

Like a machine
She's unamorous
She's become very mean
Is that a burning cross?
This does not seem right
Gives loud speeches every night
Dad I'm telling you, no lie...

She has sewn “SS”
Onto every one of her stockings
Papa-moms a Nazi
Just cause I have green eyes and brown hair
Don’t think she likes me
Papa-moms a Nazi

Use the hose to wash
Cause I avoid the shower at all costs
Makes you shave your mustache
Into something really tiny
Papa-moms a Nazi

I met this girl
Last week at my school
Mom was really bizarre
She made her wear a star
Right when they first met
She's making me so upset

Now I'm concerned
Cause I have come to learn
"Mein Kampf" took no time
Has the words memorized
Something isn't right
Germany calls every night
Dad I'm telling you, no lie...

Hid up in the attic
For three days until she found me
Papa-moms a Nazi
Has many tattoos of swastikas
She even showed me
Papa-moms a Nazi

Use the hose to wash
Cause I avoid the shower at all costs
Makes you shave your mustache
Into something really tiny
Papa-moms a Nazi

Not good
(She talks at every rally)
She snapped
(When I brought that gypsy home)
Won't stop
She's never kind
She thinks it is still World War One!

I'm begging you dad
I do not think she'll ever love me
Papa-moms a Nazi
She also gives the weirdest high fives
You know what that means...
Papa-moms a Nazi

I don't even wash
Cause I avoid the shower at all costs
Makes you shave your mustache
Into something really tiny
Papa-moms a Nazi

This was a bit offensive, which is fine because I know that I also have done work that has been deemed offensive before in the past most notably "Blasphemian Blasphemy" but the repeated shower line kinda irked me, because I like seeing all fresh new lines during a parody, and a few things read awkward during this such as Germany calling every night. How can a country call your mom? And the burning cross seems more KKK than Nazi-esque.

(SOTM March 2010) Offensive content for sure, and I have more or less the same qualms with this as Matthias does. I've done offensive stuff too, mostly body fluid-related stuff that grossed people out, but never a white-supremacist parody. 5s for pacing and overall, 1 for humor.

SOTM--Eh...I'll pass on the offensive debate...I just didn't get laughs out of it. Sorry.

Well, I have more of a mixed opinion. The words in the beginning were very neat, but it seems you ran out of steam at the end. Some of the lines (particularly the shower line that was repeated) struck me as insensitive. I think the overall idea was not offensive, just individual lines. I don't think this was a bad parody overall, though it covers a sensitive subject. On the whole I didn't find it terribly funny, but individual lines shined. Anyway, good idea, perhaps not quite what you were going for as I could definitely tell from the parody itself you don't support the Nazi ideals throughout the parody, but some things like the death showers and people having to hide in attics are very hard to use in a comedic parody, and as such perhaps this would have worked better as a serious parody. . .

SOTM...pacing was good, and overall a good write, but I didn't find it overly funny either. Sorry...

(SOTM) Well written (apart from the repeated 'shower' section), but not very funny. That's kinda hard to do with Nazis, Springtime for Hitler aside.
