The Lyrics

A problem that has effected many the abuse of steroids. Some have been affected more than others and on different levels. But here's a parody that highlights some problems with some humour thrown in, after all it is a parody.
I’ve never seen this intense you
You’ve been training fast not slow
It’s been your whole life lifting right
In all you’ve won

And I can barely recognise
You’ve gone from small to big to huge
You’re like an angry grizzly bear
And such a scrooge

Steroids, steroids
You’ve been injecting drugs
Standing acting like a muscled thug
Chemicals for your career

Stronger, Faster
It will ruin your life
You look like a freak, your thyroid gland
Looks like that it’s been lifting weights

I see the shame behind those eyes
Overdose the end is nigh
And as I see your gym work time
It might be soon

Steroids, Steroids
Your bodies been destroyed
Now your veins all look like haemorrhoids
Talking, living in your fear

Larger, Power
People run for their lives
You get so angry, don’t understand
Why you can’t face your problems sway

Steroids, Steroids
Your heart valves been enlarged
An Artificial Testosterone
early death for you is near

Stronger, Faster
The habit that survives
Wanting the physique, I understand
But steroids aint the natural way

Gari, did you really vote and comment on your own parody? ;) ... the intro and outro (bottom comment) are there for that ;). Excellent message that should be spread more widely. Was going to vote 333, but the steroids pumped that up to 555.

Responded to you at "Ringo" parody... and as you wish to be an excellent writer, the first step is to use the words correctly. Note "effected" and "affected" used in the same sense in the same sentence. Both are words, but in this case, "affected" is correct. Look up the difference... and you're not alone; the error is extremely common. Our schools in the USA stink, but I thought UK schools still taught English properly (assuming UK from "humour" vs US "humor" -- right?). Cheers!

Yes TT I confess you got me, I always will vote once on my parodies with a 555 like most artists on here will and because amiright lets me do that. It should be affected not effected thanks I didn’t know you took American and U.K English at school LOL. But seeing as my writing was not with the parody only the my comments maybe we should over look that little error YES. A talented writer I am (not really), just good at putting words together for certain songs with a particular situation. GOOD USE OF THE HUMOUR V HUMOR, one huge ocean between us and the difference is a vowel LOL thanks TT if steroids can pump a score up to 333 to 555 no wonder athletes do them.

People I know die taking steroids. The former WWF Wrestler's muscle's popped because of that. I also can't stop thinking about Jean Claude Van Damme. His bicep size is about 22 inches. I bet he took steroids! LOL. I hear that the only time you take steroids is when you have asthma. Steroids are a tempting drug to take, but the downfall side effect is that it destroys your liver! My mom's a nurse and tells me not to rely on too much medicine if I'm sick. Pumping up 5's for you!

"I always will vote once on my parodies with a 555 like most artists on here will ". ... I don't know of anyone who does that. How do you know they do? And WHY? What meaning does it have? You can vote yourself 555 a dozen times if you play a few tricks, but again, wouldn't that be sort of pathetic? ... We assume you like your own parody, else you wouldn't post it; the votes are to see how others like them.

The study of BR vs US is one of my own hobbies. As your G. B. Shaw said,
"England and America are two nations divided by a common language". LOL! Right on, GB!
The "333-555" was a joke, just echoing back your own theme. Since this is a humor site, a lot of us try to be funny in our comments, too. It was a serious 555 vote phrased in what was meant to be a humorous (or humourous) way. Cheers, Mate!

TT I understood your 333-555 joke it was humorous I was just playing along LOL. I don’t actually vote my own parodies, but I do like to leave an eye noticing comment sometimes to get people curious, I like to try and generate feedback anyway I can.

The author of the parody has authorized comments, and wants YOUR feedback.
