"What is Wrong with English Fans?"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Sadly, for many football fans the game seems to be just a pretext for something not unlike tribal warfare.
What is wrong with English fans?
Can you understand football hooligans?

Fight at will - yeah they could kill
Yeah they will raise the hell all over just to get a thrill
Yeah they would beat - and they would maim
Yeah they would set up a thick fight and then attack again
Be wrong by your colour, yeah be wrong with your team
Yeah you might die, Yeah you might die
Yeah if you are there at wrong time and wrong place you get killed
I ask why - I ask why?

What is wrong with English fans?
Can you understand football hooligans?
Why are all those senseless fights, I don't know at all
why the violence?

Town to town - they're around
Yeah they are looking for just fights
they are committing crimes
You will know when they've passed you by
You round up troublemaking guys
in your city jails
Someday they may come again and terrify
You can't deny - they may come by
Would you take their passports away
think they'd pacify?
I ask why - I ask why?

What is wrong with English fans?
Can you understand football hooligans?
Why are all those senseless fights, I don't know at all
why the violence?

All that they make is violence (violence)
with no sense
Locking up now
Someday they will return

What is wrong with English fans?

A thought-provoking parody, Susanna. I will, however, have to leap to the defence of English fans...hooligans is hooligans, regardless of nationality. The English get the worst press...doesn't make them the worst. 545

I agree with Kristof, I think if you searched and replaced the word "English," with "Soccer" it would have been better. Anyway it's good enough for 5's in my book, for this thought provoking parody.

I guess I could say something sarcastic about how Finnish fans can only dream about going to the World Cup and fight the English fans in the street... *smiles* ... but now that Finland/Lordi has actually won the European Song Contest it wouldn't surprise me the least if Finland not only qualifies but also takes the next European National Team Championship in 2008, so I better not, instead I just welcome you as the third member in the Lordi Parody Club. (Alter the "lordi2" in the URL to "lordi0" and "lordi1 and you'll find the previous ones by me and Phil).
