She says 'It's light outside' and pulls off the covers
She's always bugging me about stuff like that
She says I've missed two meals and might have to wait 'til supper

And she screams
At the top of her lungs, and she says

She always says "Early to bed, early to rise" now,
Cause downstairs in her room she has an alarm clock
I swear the night don't last quite as long as it used to
I always sleep all through morning
I'm still asleep
Even though it's a tuesday

She believes that school is something I should go to
But it only takes my sleeping time away
She thinks that consciousness is a virtue among teens today
But upstairs I'm still sleeping
