The Lyrics

Is it possible to write a parody of a travesty? I still remember the video of blank-eyed elementary school children in New Jersey chanting the praises of President Obama in a frightening monotone. One year into this administration, perhaps the song might be more like this. Please note: There will be errors in accents and stresses, but this is light-years ahead of the original. ;D

Mm, mmm, mm!
Barack Hussein Obama

He swore he'd put his Health Care Plan
Negotiatons on C-SPAN
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

Gitmo's not closed and terror warts
Will be tried in civilian courts
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

He gave us czars and big earth-shakers
We now run banks and auto makers
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

He brought us peace (well, I surmise)
And won the great Nobel Peace Prize
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

When White House crashers make him nervous
He just blames the Secret Service
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

He will not give us border fences
'Til ACORN can corrupt the census
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

'Though he's quadrupled the nation's debt
Millions of us are without work yet
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

"War on terror" he wouldn't say
But that's all changed since Christmas Day
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

Just one phrase is in this vault:
All this mess is Bush's fault!
Mm, mmm, mm
Barack Hussein Obama

The only real mystery to me how a TEACHER could have written the original song so completely lacking in meter and rhyme-scheme! ;D

That little scenario with the children was frightening. Good parody about it.

Mm, mmm, mm gets my 5, 5, 5 but be ready for 1, 1, 1 bombers! Very up-to-date & topical. Won't get very far with either NEA (teachers or artists) though.

I remember hearing about the OS on the John Boy And Billy Big Show on the radio... nice job spoofing it! And here's how the kids at another elementary school sang Jesus Loves The Little Children: "Red and yellow, black and white, they are precious in his sight... mmm mmm mmm, Barack Hussein Obama!" 555

There is nothing scarier than children chanting in a monotone! (Well, except you-know-who) Excellent spoofing OMR, 555.

this will get deleted by the liberal controll force which shows that truth or opposition is not tollerated here. too bad that you gotta stay within liberal guidelines to post comments or vote here. here goes - troops not coming home but going to war for oil- YES, transperancy on c span, NOT - its midnight auto sales instead, 8 % or less inflation, NOT, liberal voters being honest about their ilk they enable, NOT. go ahead, delete the truth now . . . you cannot be too secure in what you enable or have any integrity if you delete a simple poor mans posts who already pays too much for leaches, bums, politicians who bribe liberal politicians for a vote, rich company bail outs, and other things you liberals support. im just a poor musician who comments but gets deleted. YOUR KIDS WILL REMEMBER YOUR SUPPORT OF THIS SOLCIALISM

DKTOS, but this has a lot of good lines, particularly the last verse.

No, rob. Your comments get deleted because they HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE PARODY! CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? I don't give two sh*ts about anyone's politics here, but in your paragraph long comment you mentioned exactly NOTHING about this parody, same as EVERY OTHER COMMENT YOU LEAVE, WHICH IS WHY I DELETE THEM ALL. Now, that we have that (not) settled...

OMR, I dktos too, but I liked the rhymes here, especially nervous/service and fenses/census. Kudos for taking on a new OS too. I'll have to see if I can track it down on YouTube.
