As several of Al Gore's critics have noted, Gore's huge mansion in Tennessee is a real energy-sucker, no matter what lame excuses he may have to offer about the "carbon offset" indulgences he buys with all the money he makes hawking his ecochondriac cult to gullible greens. Even if it is a huge mansion (10,000 square feet), I have to wonder: how the devil is he using all of that energy, anyway?
When I'm traveling on business,
I see a different town each week.
I've found weird stuff in my hotel rooms,
But this makes me freak:
The toilet's choked, the AC's croaked,
The TV's at full roar.
Who was the wastrel who stayed here last?
Must have been Al Gore.

Compare and contrast another mansion: Bush's 4,000 square feet ranch in Crawford, which includes lots of expensive energy-saving devices and materials to help keep its impact on the environment to a minimum. As ever, the leftards talk endlessly about protecting the environment, but we "wingnuts" on the right are the folks who actually do anything to conserve energy. When you work to help the environment, do not be like Al Gore, for he does his "good works" (as he thinks of them) to be seen (and applauded, and paid) by others. I tell you the truth, he has his reward in full. But our Lord, who sees what is done in private, right under the media's nose, will reward and commend Bush.
