The Lyrics

Hi, it's The Charnstar... I haven't written anything in almost 2 years, but now I'm unemployed and waiting to join the Army Reserves, I decided, "Why not?" I won't be doing much else with my time... so here we are! I noticed there was only one other parody of a Paul Brandt song, and I realised, like a lot of my music, you may not know it, but if you look up the lyrics for the pacing, realise that he sings a lot of one syllable words with 2 syllables and such, so the pacing should be fine.
I'll now tell you of a fair warning I mustn't repeat
It all started one day when I tried an impossible feat

I prepared with a stretch
Then my tongue touched my elbow
A shiver down my spine
And the whole world went all aglow
Never dreamt the end of time would ever
Fell together like this

And then I felt the abyss, all 'round
As then the laws of time and space start-
ed crumblin down
It's the end of all, fare thee well, physical last abstraction
Damn, I started an unstopple chain reaction

Damn!

So I decide to run
Right before all our lives turns to debris
The way my luck seems to run
I knew the blame would be placed on me

As the brimstone boiled
Twinkies went out of date
Fire from the sky, George Micheal came out straight,
Now I bet John Cusack didn't go through things quite so ludacris

This is the apocalypse, so strange
Now Matthew Broderick has talent
Lady Gaga is sane
There were good sequels, cheap petrol, principly simple fractions
Damn, I started this unstoppable chain reaction

Now I accept what this is, I'm screwed
But with a smile like mine, I'm a real
forgivable dude
So now here I wait, with no mates, Pearly Gates, their reaction:
"Dude, you started the apocalypse chain reaction!

"Dude, you started the apocalypse,
"There is no forgiving this,
"Know what you can surely kiss." Pure rejection

Dang!
So, moral of the story is, when someone says it's impossible, IT'S IMPOSSIBLE FOR A REASON!... Hope you enjoyed... Copyright, Charnstar Anderson 2010

Loved the original song you parodied, big fan of country but never heard this song before, but I don't agree with your view points I love Matthew Brodrick and Lady GaGa, not a big fan of George Michael so you can bash him all you want. This was a fun parody all in all though.

Thanks guys. As for Matthias, it's not that I don't like Lady Gaga, I think she's incredibly talented... but she just so happens to be insane simoultaneously... but I do hate Broderick... But thanks man!

I, uh, don't like the original song at all, sorry i find most country--especially the Garth Brooks types annoying, but the original song isn't what I'm rating. I agree with your sentiment even if I don't feel the exact same about your personal examples, I agree she IS INSANE, but then again, I think that's why I like her. . .hard song to parody Charn, you did pretty good with it. Glad Matty enjoyed TOS, I hope I never hear it again

(SOTM)Liked the content better than the original (in total agreement with BAD on that). And I liked the thought you put into your alternate, twisted universe. Nice twisting.

(SOTM) Interesting idea for a parody, and well executed. I like Broderick (particularly in The Producers and Lion King) but Lady Gaga is kinda cuckoo. 555
