The Lyrics

"Get The Laundry Started"

I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started
I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started

Get the laundry started on a Saturday night
My stomach is queasy and I don't feel quite right
I think I may have picked it up from one of my friends
And I am expellin' it from both of my "ends'
I think I got the flu, or food poisonin'
Must've been the Caf food, but it's not surprisin'
I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started
I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started

Throwin' up all over, I got some on my feet
Can't keep anythin' down
What the hell did I eat!
My stomach is churnin' but I don't thinks it's gas
I started to dry heave and poop shot out my ass
Looked out the window, and I wished on a star
Make me feel better, oh wherever you are

I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started
I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started
Get the laundry started

Clampin my mouth shut, enter bathroom
I'm getting chills and I'm starting to swoon
Throwin' up all over, I can hear my heart beat
Pukin' up my stomach, heavin' right from my feet
Call the operator, on emergency line
Hope the ambulance gets here in time

I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started
I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started
I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started
I'm throwin' up so you better, you better get the laundry started
Get the laundry started
Get the laundry started right now
Get the laundry started
Get the laundry started
Get the laundry started right now

Clever concept, but there's a pacing problem in the chorus. I've heard TOS a thousand times, and I am pretty certain that the phrase "you better" is not repeated twice in succession.

I too have heard this WAY too many times, but there *may* be a disco/dance cut that repeats that part mr critic noticed. Based on what I know I'll give you 4s.
Blue Ant - July 11, 2005 - Report this comment
Mr. Critic is right; i've heard it on the radio countless times and do NOT hear "you better you better" at all. Again, ^ is not me.

Funny, expellin' it from both ends. I went through something similar once. 455

I actually used a lyrics site to TRY to confirm the lyrics as I do not usually listen to this type of music.... that is where the repeat came from... I'd re-submit with out the repeat but that would be redundant now, wouldn't it... thanks for the votes and advice!
