Listening to a news story on WLUP about a college kid who died of alcohol poisoning got me to thinking about how awful alcohol-related deaths are, yet many people out there don't see anything wrong with binge drinking. I have never drank to excess, and also, thankfully, have never suffered a tragic loss at the hands of a drunk driver, but still am able to grasp the seriousness of this topic.
So, I decided to make a version of this song that denounces drinking to excess, instead of endorsing it.

I'm a pretty big fan of beer, but I'm with you on the drunk driving part (I'm against it).

Thank you all for your positive comments! I was a little worried because of touching on such a serious topic, plus the fact that I basically threw this together in under 30 minutes (save for altering two or three lines).
