The Lyrics

Reggie is Reggie Miller of the Indiana Pacers (Number 31) The other two are Todd MacCulloch and Matt Geiger, one time teammates on te 76ers. Enjoy.
Reggie drove like a tiger, at MacCulloch and Geiger.
Sailing down the lane with pride, bound for a big jam.
He was headed for the bucket, and he didn't want to chuck it
He wanted to finish it with a slam.

But Todd he never ever saw his teammate
And Bald guys with tempers can't hesitate.

There are... two bumbling hosses on the wrong side of a key play.
Why they can't play it smart, heaven only knows.
I guess it's, not what you think when you go to stop a drive, yeah
It's what up on the scoreboard where it shows.

That Geiger left a bloodstain, a gash worth 30 stitcher
And just general discontent when all was said and done.
Cuz MacCulloch had tripped him and it sent them both a flyin
In his quest to block a shot by 31.

That Geiger shouted "what the hell you thinking Ace?"
As he threw a left hook right at poor old Toddy's face

There are... two bumbling hosses on the wrong side of a key play.
Why they can't play it smart, heaven only knows.
I guess it's, not what you think when you go to stop a drive, yeah
It's what up on the scoreboard where it shows.

That's the story that old player told last Sunday.
As he held that bloody jersey up for all of us to see.
He said, bless my team and bless Matt Geiger, and the tiger
Who gave this failure to my daddy, that'll always haunt me.

There are... two bumbling hosses on the wrong side of a key play.
Why they can't play it smart, heaven only knows.
I guess it's, not what you think when you go to stop a drive, yeah
It's what up on the scoreboard where it shows.

There are... two bumbling hosses on the wrong side of... a key play...

It seems like you did this parody before it came out as a single hence the relatively low amount of votes and maybe more people will vote on this now that it seems to be a hit according to billboard (even though i still dont know the song)

In the world of country, songs become "hits" after they've been out for like half a year, so when this song was parodied right after it came out, it was still relatively unknown. Just a case of parodying a song because of inspiration, and not necessarily caring how many votes it would get. Thanks for checking it out though Tone-def.
