Song Parodies -> "Towel, I Am So In Need Of You"

Original Song Title:

"Let My Words Be Few"

 (MP3)
Original Performer:

Rebecca St. James

Parody Song Title:

"Towel, I Am So In Need Of You"

Parody Written by:

Peter Andersson a.k.a K1chyd

The Lyrics

This is hardly my best handiwork here and with kind of a religious hymn as soundtrack it's in real bad taste, up until the last line and twist that experienced parody readers/writers will se come miles away. Furthermore the original song's title is taken from the third line of the chorus, one that I varied throughout, so the parody title had to be taken from the forth line.
And I shook it harder - true
(Jesus!)
When in hand you'll shake it too

It looked big as Big Ben
And I would shake in mirth
But I let it get askew
Towel, I am so in need of you

And I shook it harder - true
When in hand you'll shake it too
Cos that works with shampoo
Towel, I am so in need of you

The simplest of announcements
I hereby bring to you
Don't jerk it until you are blue
Towel, I am so in need of you

And I shook it harder - true
(Stupid!)
When in hand you'll shake it too
But let that be taboo
Of towel I am so in need...

Cos I shook and I felt screwed
(Dumbass!)
When in hand you'll feel screwed too
Say will this dry like glue?
Ketchup I am so displeased with you!

*the chorus keeps pouring for a while*

Remember, the Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy always recommends one carries a towel when traveling to any destination.

I saw it "coming", which means I didn't see it coming! ... the switch, that is.... uh, not sure others caught it either... Anyway, nice trompe l'oeil, and for another, see "You Don't Blow Me". http://www.amiright.com/parody/misc/eddyarnoldraycharles0.shtml Five spurts -- of ketchup.

LMAO! This is great, Peter. The contrast between TOS lyrics and yours couldn't be better. There has been some MB discussion "Christian Music" and abbreviating songs - you made the right choices on both here IMO (if you want me to elaborate I'll send a PM). Excellent work to a song that really needed it. 555+

Matthias: I'll take your word for it...

Agrimorfee: That should have been my first idea here! (But I've made up for it now).

AFW: In Matthias' Catholic School locker room?

Tommy Turtle: Really? And - Been here, done that!

Red Ant: I've just seen the new abbreviating songs thread and I have nothing to add, you all said what there was to say IMHO. However I'm at loss with this new "MB", what does it mean?
