I don't watch "SpongeBob" -- I got enough problems without toking up -- so I can't objectively rate this parody on merit. Ghetto John's question deserves an answer. The term "flak" dates back to World War II. I believe it pertained originally to anti-aircraft fire (also known as "ack-ack"). It has also come to mean complaints over something said by an opponent, often trivial (either the initial remark or the complaint). For example, one can expect flak on this board when one criticizes Georgie Bush, or the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, or gun owners. The question then is, "You can dish it out, but can you take it?" And I can't answer that question for you. "Flak" should not be confused with "flack," which is a press agent or publicist, whose job may include handling flak.

Hello, you're a very good parody writer, I don't know the history of "flak", I didn't even know what flak was until the History Teachers on this page explained, loved the song, don't care what flak is. Have a nice day!
