The Lyrics

Inspired by Ursula from the Disney Animated classic "The Little Mermiad". I heavier-thrash version of Poor Unfortunate Souls.
Verse 1: Love’s for the innocent
You’re dumb if you want it
You scum will take what you can get
Swam into my cave
With what she’s heard
“Could lose yourself”
That’s unfortunate!
Cuz she is the one that wants the legs
Here is where she came
Tail is swishing as she begs
Cuz I am the one that’s so deranged
Banished to a cave
With my magic that can change…

Chorus: Ariel’s voice is mine
And in three days time
Her soul’s entwined

Verse 2: Spells are malevolent
You think I’m good-natured
Then I turn around and take my percent
Looking at my scroll
Can’t say a word
No bras of shells
But must pay your debt!
Now l’ll be the one that gets the throne
Triton’s little girl
Should have never left her home
I’m the one that gets to rule
Now I have my play
Thanks to this romantic fool…
HA!

Chorus: Oh, Ariel’s heart does pine
For the warm coastline
Her dream’s declined
Ariel, wine and dine
You’ll miss the deadline
Back to the brine!
Ariel, wasting time
No kiss for her highness
Fall behind
Ariel’s, doing fine
How are you so blind?
You’ll join my shrine

Outro: HA HA HA!
HA HA HA!
HA HA HA HA HA HA!
HA HA ha…
HA HA HA!
HA HA HA!
HA HA HA HA HA HA!
HA HA ha…
I imagine those two eels (Flotsam and Jetsam) would be singing backup on this one. Which is super funny to me. If you think so too, become a fan and follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, and SoundClick!

As a Disney fan I like this one a lot it could have used a bit more humor though

(Artistry) Holy crap, this was actually kinda epic. I actually don't mind that there wasn't a lot of funny, the clever writing and perfectly chosen OS created the perfect mood for a darker take on Ursula's big number (maybe this version involves the "walking on knives" and "dissolves into foam" bits of the original story). 555!

In a sense I kinda wished Disney went with the novel ending. Good work on this one.

To be completely honest, when I read the intro and saw this was going to be about the Little Mermaid (which is a perfect fit, title-wise btw), I was little worried and turned off because I've actually never seen the movie. However, I gave it an honest listen...and it totally works for me! I know the basic story of Ursula and Ariel, so I wasn't lost...and the combination of the story and the music makes it sound like this parody could be in an updated rock and roll version of the movie (GET ON IT, DISNEY!) Excellent work!
