Song Parodies -> "The Legend Of Leia"

Original Song Title:

"The Legend of Zelda"

Original Performer:

System of a Down

Parody Song Title:

"The Legend Of Leia"

Parody Written by:

Peter (the Reader)

The Lyrics

Luke
From Tatooine
Come to save
The Princess Leia
Vader took her away
Now the rebels must pray
So that Luke
Will come save the day
(R2-D2!)
Now Luke
Your lightsaber
Will protect
You from Darth Vader
And if Vader is mean
Then you must not give in
To the Dark Side, just like a sissy coward

Now Luke
Has saved the day
Sent Vader
To his grave
Now Leia is free
And our hero shall be
Luke
I think your name shall be in Jedi history!

This song is not by System of a Down. http://remix.overclocked.org/detailmix.php?mixid=OCR00022

The song is by The Rabbit Joint, not System of a Down (the singer of this song doesn't have that unmistakeable Eastern European accent that the SoaD singer does). I think TRJ used to have an MP3.com page...

Joint Monkey? You meant Rabbit Joint. And the (or at least an) "official site," being the one I posted above, says so.

Last I heard, the song is by rabbit joint, but two of the current members in system are supposedly from that band. Obviously most people mistake the song for system because of the uniqueness of serj's voice, so it is him on the vocals, and he was in bands before soil and system, so it is very likely he did do the song, it's just not system.

This song is by a band called Rabbit Joint. None of the members have ever been a part of the band system of a down. The singer is Joey Pleiman.

I'm just saying.. Serj wasnt in Soil. System Of A Down was called Soil when they first formed in 1995. And kept the name, from 1995 to 1997. In 1997 another group of musicians formed, and created the band, Soil. System did know the members of Soil, though. Hence the reason, the song "Soil" was named after the band, although the song is said to be about an ex-member from Soil who killed himself. Anyway, like I was saying, Serj wasnt in the band now known as Soil. But he was in Soil, when System Of A Down was first formed.
