The Lyrics

There’s a hole in our love life
Now we know all the answers
A-oh-A-oh
You ask: where went the magic?
And I know what’s the culprit

Goodbye mystery
We’re promiscuous lovers
But we knew too much
Goodbye mystery
Now we’ve all the answers
We have lost our touch
We’re losing attraction
As time passes on
Our love is a fraction
The unknown is gone

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh
(Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh)
(Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh)
(Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh)

So busy when we started to date
Conversation was so new, so great
Oh-Oh-Oh
So fascinating and now you’re not
We loved each other but we have forgot

Goodbye mystery
We’re promiscuous lovers
But we knew too much
Goodbye mystery
Now we’ve all the answers
We have lost our touch
We’re losing attraction
As time passes on
Our love is a fraction
The unknown is gone

Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh
(Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh)
(Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh)
(Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh)

(Goodbye mystery)
(Goodbye mystery)

Goodbye mystery
The world was full of wonder when I looked in your eyes
Goodbye mystery
(Goodbye mystery)
Six months on we’re neither of us ever surprised
Goodbye mystery
We’re promiscuous lovers but we knew too much
Goodbye mystery
Now we’ve all the answers
We have lost our touch
We’re losing attraction
As time passes on
Our love is a fraction
The unknown is gone

(Oh-Oh-Oh-Oh)

Welcome back Alex! DKTOS, but this was interesting (obviously nowhere near as funny...or Song of The Month material...as your Undergraduate parody).

This is very sad, Sir. I've been down this road!

littlecupcakes, you seem to have looked at and commented on ALL of my songs in the past day. How was my portfolio?

Sir Alex, bon jour! As I have only been on this 'site' for 4 weeks now, so I don't know how to open portfolios, and since my boss thinks I'm doing 'on-line Xmas shopping', my time is rather limited! Your work is very good Sir. I just clicked on your title under the 'authors' category. your subjects are tops and your knowledge of our English tongue is superb! But then the Brits always have that edge over us 'Mericans! among other things too . . . Despite my distaste for ~ CharLePetit ~ I do love to hear him speak . .. it makes me dizzzy!
