The Lyrics

2700TH PARODY, Y'ALL! And as is my tradition, I have taken a song I parodied back when I was stupid and inexperienced and re-parody along a vaguely similar topic. Last time I wrote about a wonderful sandwich. This time, let's have the food be not so wonderful...
Hate to be that person but
I'd like to talk to someone higher up
'Cause my meal here sucks
Give me a refund, refund

I paid a good chunk of my hard-earned dough
To go, to go, go here, so you'd know
To make my meal not a huge pile of shit
Not gonna eat it, send it back and replace it, stat
I know that I made a call for my steak
To be cooked med-rare, that's to my taste
But one incision from this sharp knife shows
Why my derision has arisen, no, no, no, no

I'm put out, yeah-eah-eah
To put it mildly, I'm put out, yeah-eah-eah
Did you just leave it on the back burner?
No pink inside there, I'm put out, yeah-eah-eah-eah

I love my meat cross-sections but
Only when the red shows up
You've made it too plain for me
Will no longer go down tastily

Yeah-eah-eah, make me a bleeding steak right now, yeah-eah-eah
Don't you just leave it on the back burner
I wanna see blood dripping down, yeah-eah-eah
No, wait, I take that back now, yeah-eah-eah
Don't want a blue steak right now, yeah-eah-eah
Just underline "med-rare" now

I'm appalled that you're such a staller
Pulling old excuses to offer
Ways I'm wrong and they're getting bolder
"The taste's off 'cause it's gone much colder"
Well, I'm sorry, but this is bollocks
I don't want your absolute nonsense
I know what I put on my order
The same all the time, no disorder
So just stop the "are you sure?" bollocks
And get all of your free chefs on this (is that so hard?)

Yeah-eah-eah, don't wanna have to walk right out, yeah-eah-eah
Just 'cause you left it on the back burner
But I'm real tempted to right now, yeah-eah-eah
No fan of gaslighting now, yeah-eah-eah
You're claiming that I'm wrong now, yeah-eah-eah
You never left it on the back burner?
Gonna dispute that right now, yeah-eah-eah
It's clear to ev'ryone now

You've ruined it (brought the experience down)
Won't get a tip (won't put cash down)
Sure screwed it all up when all I said was
"Sir, what is this? it's well-done
What is this? it's well-done" (not said that harsh)
It's a shame because
The rest was top-notch

It's good to finally do the complete version of this song. I mean, all it was missing the intro, which is just a variation on the second verse, but still. As satisfying as a properly-cooked steak.
