Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

Like burning embers
My heart's getting redder
Blood stuck in the cockles
Can't wait anymore
My eye is starting to twitch
I'm staring at his photo
Tuning in the cable
My lips are getting sore

Don't think he's overrated
We should be conjugated
Even though we've never dated
Be his wife

Now when they're going too slow
Starting to poke
His gasses start to brewing
He's ready to explode
Now if they knew what he'd do
Or even had a clue
And if he said he'd love to chat
Not have to watch pay-per-view
I'd marry Vin
I'd marry Vin
I'd marry Vin

I loved Triple X
Backed him as Riddick
Made a hot Caparzo
Sure is looking fine
I'm trying to be patient
I wish that he would call
Hung his posters on my wall
Melt when he says his lines

I wouldn't marry for money
But this girl is getting hungry
I want something real yummy
That's why I'd marry Vin

Now when they're going too slow
Starting to poke
His gasses start to brewing
He's ready to explode
Now if they knew what he'd do
Or even had a clue
And if he said he'd love to chat
Not have to watch pay-per-view
I'd marry Vin
I'd marry Vin
I'd marry Vin

Give me a ring when he's coming
I'll reach my goal he'll be my husband
Give him good loving
That's why I'd marry Vin

Now when they're going too slow
Starting to poke
His gasses start to brewing
He's ready to explode
Now if they knew what he'd do
Or even had a clue
And if he said he'd love to chat
Not have to watch pay-per-view
I'd marry Vin
I'd marry Vin
I'd marry Vin

DKTOS, but I think someone is trying to tell us who "Mavis" is.

okay, I only suspected last time, but after this, I've just gotta ask you Mavis - are you Arwen?
Arwen - January 27, 2005 - Report this comment
Vin Diesel=Sexy
Tim McGraw=Sexy
Arwen=Sexy
Mavis=Not so sexy.

I would like to believe that those of you who really know me would know that #1: I am not afraid to fight my fights under my own name. AND #2: If I were going to choose a pseudonym, I would certainly choose one that does NOT bring to my mind a frumpy old spinster.

I would have also thought that both of the gentlemen who have commented on this parody would have thought to simply ASK me a question via email, rather than speculating indirectly on the comments page.

Needless to say, my feelings are actually a bit hurt.

"Would you care for some tea, Monsieur Descartes?"

"I think not ... "

And with that, Rene Descartes vanished.

whoops Arwen, you forgot "Stuart McArthur=Bastard"

LOL Sybil and TPS!

and also - "what Spaff said" !!!
Stuart McArthur - January 27, 2005 - Report this comment
what? where did the sybil comment go?

this is all too mysterious, Miss Marple

- and clearly you're not Mavis, Arwen, because the writing is not your style at all, and what would be your motive in writing it? if it was good you'd use your own name - if it was bad you wouldn't bother

(and also with the VIN thing, it was too obviously written intending to sound like you....but what IS going on?)

Philosopher Stoned: That's one of the best jokes I've ever heard, especially since people like Georgie Bush would never get it. Just remember, when writing about the history of philosophy, to put Horace before Descartes. (Old joke.)
