Parody Song Title:

The Lyrics

A few notes: The (# and @) signs, should basically be ignored. They're there to reference Twitter. For pacing purposes, just read the words that follow them. Also, anything within the brackets represents a tweet that main character would write. Okay? Good. Original Song
I found Twitter last Wednesday
On eve-ry night
I can’t put it down
I’m not sure why
I post pictures of this good food
And stalk athletes
But most people say
“It’s just too much for me!”

But listen:
Follow me
I’ll keep you informed alright,
[Give my opinion of the game last night,
And also, religion ain’t taboo for me…
All of my posts, surely, #You’llRetweet]

I'm not worried
'bout typos or swears
If it’s one forty or less
Then you know I will share
The zoo on Monday
Took pic with a bear
I posted right away
With hashtag, #ImNotScared,

I’m postin’:
Follow me
[Here’s the story of my life:
Born on a Monday on a stormy night
And then I learned to walk at around age three
Click this link for my blog, #All’BoutMe]

[This pic is funny
You should check out this Vine
Just click the link I’ve posted ten times
Here’s my friend, Steven…#FollowHimToday!]
Post in all caps
So you can read what I say!

(Follow me, and you’ll love what I write)
[You’ll love this quote, by genius @Frank_Lloyd_Wright
Some people call it spam, but I disagree
You won’t find a tweeter great like me]

You don’t know how you found me
You #DontKnowWhy
Threw phone on the ground
To say goodbye
But you know you’ll re-click ‘follow’
And you’ll have me
Give you perfect say’ns
While you’re trying to sleep

Just listen:
Follow me
Every post you will like
[Check out this sushi place I found last night
And if you want to go, here’s a coupon, free!
Just say that you got it from #MyTweet]

#ImPostin:
Follow me
And you’ll love what I write
[Live tweeting details of my date last night
Okay I was alone, but believe-you-me
If I found somebody, #SheLovesTweets ]

Just listen:
Follow me
[Here’s a spoof I did write
You all remember Uncle Kracker, right?
Then you will love the words of this parody
It has the same title, #FollowMe]
Also, you can #FollowMe on Twitter! @AbbottSkelding

I don't use Twitter so I never understood the hashtag thing. Apparently it let's you link stuff or something? I figured that much out. What I don't get is why people use # on Facebook where it does nothing. Anyways, I can totally see where your character is coming from. He wants to feel popular and important even if it's just online.

@AbbotSkelding #SOTM Awesome parody here! Some of the lines read a bit odd, but I'll let that slide. #555 retweets

(SOTM) Not your funniest parody to date, but still good. Some line were a little choppy, but not too many. Good work!

Enjoyable and a funny idea. Dont people typically say "hashtag" and "at" when talking about tweets and homepages? If so, you probably should have incorporated that in the parody more.
