As anyone who has been alive and conscious for the last few days knows, the quest for perfection by the New England Patriots came crashing down after hitting a Giant obstacle. Plaxico is Plaxico Burruss, the NY Giants wide receiver who caught the game winning TD from Eli Manning. I was rooting, against the odds, for NY, due to my NY state origins. (See my "Horseheads" parody.) This time, the odds didn't play out.
The Giants' year wasn't all that great
