The Lyrics

A song sung by a teenager intrigued by the Kids Next Door and excitedly attempts to join.
Nothing never ever ever happens in this school
At the local pool (pool), yeah nothing's ever cool
I thought that I wouldn't even survive
Another day livin' in this dump

Then I heard (hey) about a group of crazy kids
Living in the middle of the generation blitz
Who spent their time fighting grown-up crime
Bent on making kids their chumps

Since then I've tracking them down
And their huge treehouse yards above the ground
'Cause I'm so excited that I'm really spellbound
And I wanna join their crew

I'm so intrigued to make it to the team
That I don't care if I'm already eighteen
And my face is pimply and experience green
And that my breath smells bad too

I can't wait no, I can't wait
Gotta join before I age much more.
I'm gonna (yes I'm gonna) Ima going to
Join (yes I'm gonna) I'm gonna join the
Kids (oh yes I'm gonna) Next
I wanna join the Kids Next Door

In the morning then I tried to join the club
But they saw I was old, said none 13 and up
So they promptly went and handed back my butt
At the foot of their huge treehouse

Later then on tryout number two
Managed to get through in a shabby kiddy suit
Got the lolly choice, but I didn't take the blue
So I went and got kicked out

Third time, I went to Antartica,
Tried the training course and got to level three
But then I got stuck in a small dark suite
And I nearly froze to death

Dunno what their deal is with teens
Not all of them are scary and mean
But even if it takes try forty-thousand-teen
I only have one small request

I can't wait no, I can't wait
Gotta join before I age much more.
I'm gonna (yes I'm gonna) Ima going to
Join (yes I'm gonna) I'm gonna join the
Kids (oh yes I'm gonna) Next
I wanna join the Kids Next Door

I can't wait no, I can't wait
Gotta join before I age much more.
I'm gonna (yes I'm gonna) Ima going to
Join (yes I'm gonna) I'm gonna join the
Kids (oh yes I'm gonna) Next
I wanna join the Kids Next Door

Would you look at all that tech.

They've got mobile piping, photon lasers, tennis probes and mind erasers,
Mustard cannons, blizzard blenders, turnip-headed kid replacers,
Kuki-aided hippy-hopper, total treehouse entry stopper,
Tapioca vacuum cleaner, carousel-inspired chopper,
Wrestling robot packing punches, rifles inside box-o-lunches,
Starch ejectors, teen detectors, 'loons of water by the bunches,
Shrinkable inside invader, parent mob obliterater,
Mozzarella-shooting rifles, vacuum room evacuator,
Master keys of chewing gum, mustard shooters kicking bum,
Shopping rockets, flying campers, clam cannons shooting chum,
Pogo-jumping paramedics, skunk-reviving cybernetics,
Rocket shoes and laser tools and hamster-amplified kinetics,
Magnet-powered wooden whackers, table-tennis racket trackers,
Anti-candy-hunting-pirate-lever-powered-boxing-smackers,
Rocket-boosted fireplaces, robot locker interfaces,
Super rescue operation shuttles into outer spaces

I can't wait no, I can't wait
Gotta join before I age much more.
I'm gonna (yes I'm gonna) Ima going to
Join (yes I'm gonna) I'm gonna join the
Kids (oh yes I'm gonna) Next
I wanna join the Kids Next Door

I can't wait no, I can't wait
Gotta join before I age much more.
I'm gonna (yes I'm gonna) Ima going to
Join (yes I'm gonna) I'm gonna join the
Kids (oh yes I'm gonna) Next
I wanna join the Kids Next Door

I can't wait no, I can't wait
Gotta join before I age much more.
I'm gonna (yes I'm gonna) Ima going to
Join (yes I'm gonna) I'm gonna join the
Kids (oh yes I'm gonna) Next
I wanna join the
Kiiiiiiiiiids Next Door...

Not bad. I'm not a fan of KND, but I still your parody was pretty good. (AND you were talented enough to keep the pacing the same!)

I'd just like to say this was a really fun read and should have gotten more attention on the site. I'm attempting the song currently, and it's no easy task. I really enjoyed your philibuster in the middle.

I like watching KND on Cartoon Network most of the time. I rented a KND video game for PlayStation 2 and played it at Bradford LeMay's lakehouse in Lake Livingston, Texas.
