Part of my "World Go Boom" self-challenge. In fact, it's the last one of the main challenge, as the OS was (somehow) the biggest hit of the year (in America, anyway). Weird. And what other way to celebrate than to write a parody about my favourite character from Sesame Street?

Me love shoving cookies in my mouth
Me want that choc'late chip, me know that me want it now
Me so glad that they're made throughout the year
If they were limited, me would tear out my hair

Me not picky, love every type, don't you?
Don't underestimate the lengths that I'll go to
To get cookies, but if me don't get
Any food sometime soon, then me eating the plate instead

Me smelling cookies, you looking shifty
Me think you hiding them, you know that isn't smart
Yes, me smell cookies, some peanut butter
Me cannot help it

Me want to eat them all

Cookie Monster knows that cookies are a sometimes food...but right now is sometimes! AHMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM (that's straight from the actual show, BTW, Sesame Street knows their stuff).

Its VERY rare that I can pace a parody to a song that Ive NEVER heard before now, but I could here, and a 5 for humor as well. the "...smart cookie" line was my favorite. I wouldnt have been able to do this, just would have run out of cookies before the end. and THANK YOU for NOT doing this to Limp Biscuit's "Nookie". 555

I wouldn't have known what to do with this OS. Great work here, especially personifing Cookie Monster. Great throughout but the third stanza stood out especially. "Me cannot help it..."
